Denise Pipitone's mother: "20 years without her and without justice"
The message from Piera Maggio on her social profile: 'The pain is renewed'
"On the day of this sad anniversary, our pain mixed with anger for the failure to find Denise and for the lack of justice is renewed even more strongly!" This is what Piera Maggio writes on her social profile together with Pietro Pulizzi, the parents of Denise Pipitone, on the anniversary of the disappearance of the little girl, which took place on September 1, 2004, while she was playing in front of her house in Mazara del Vallo.
"After twenty years since the abduction of our daughter," she continues, "we have nothing more to add than what we have already said over all these years."
For Denise's parents, "this case is one of Italy's shames: the absolute failure of those poor in spirit and human sense. We will never stop demanding justice and truth. Nor will we forget the cruelty we suffered: not everyone has a conscience."
Piera Maggio and Pietro Pulizzi, the biological father of the little girl, also write: "Our Denise has become the daughter of all Italy, we are convinced that sooner or later the guilty will pay for the harm caused, whether it be an earthly or divine punishment. Missing children must be searched for, not forgotten."
